Joe Barber

Joe Barber is an American composer from West Chester, United States. He is associated with classical, contemporary classical and modern classical music.

Career

He is described as a prolific songwriter with a strong ear for pop hooks, and his voice is noted for sitting loosely over the music and tying the songs together. He also writes darker, more forbidding pieces on his own.

At one point he fronts the Bath-based band The Blame, and later he is based in Brighton, where he fronts the college rock band Torn Between Delphi.

He is active as a performer who adapts to live problems, including continuing after a power cut by moving his equipment outside the venue.
