Jo Hall

Jo Hall is an English singer-songwriter based in Paris. She is a self-taught performer whose work and live shows are compared with artists including Joni Mitchell, Joan Armatrading, India Arie, Stevie Wonder, Amy Winehouse, Jill Scott and Lauryn Hill.

Career

Hall performs and records with The Junk Affair. She has played with cult bands including I Am Kloot and self-funded three tours of the UK. Her songs appear on compilation releases such as Café Del Mar and Hed Kandi series, and they are used in television and radio productions.

She also works on a number of projects in and outside the studio. She is putting together material for her first full-length release and continues to look for a label that suits the character of her music.
