JME

JME, the performing name of Jamie Adenuga, is a Tottenham-born UK grime artist of Nigerian origin. He is the co-owner and CEO of Boy Better Know, the label he runs with his brother Skepta, Joseph Adenuga. He is also associated with a T-shirt chain co-owned with Uptown Records, which carries designs featuring himself, Boy Better Know and his dormant club night, Straight Outta Bethnal.

He starts out making mobile phone ringtones before moving on to Mario Paint, Game Boy Camera and later Fruity Loops. His recorded output includes four mixtapes in the Boy Better Know series: Edition 1 - Shh Hut Yuh Muh, Edition 2 - Poomplex, Edition 3 - Derkhead and Edition 4 - Tropical (Instrumental). He also releases tracks and EPs on vinyl, including “Serious” and the Wasteman EP.

His debut studio album, Famous?, features 16 tracks and collaborations with Wiley, Skepta and Tempa T. His second studio album, Blam!, includes the singles “Over Me”, “Sidetracked” featuring Wiley and “CD Is Dead” featuring Tempa T. Outside his solo work, he also appears in collaborations with Nick Holder. He also features in videos with the Sidemen and appears on their Christmas songs “Christmas Drillings” and “Merry Merry Christmas”.
