Jessiquoi is an Australian/Swiss electronic artist, producer and performer based in Switzerland. Her music moves between electronica, rap and pop, and she writes and produces all of her own material.

Career and sound

Jessiquoi performs with a self-made wooden wagon fitted with LED lights, which forms part of the visual presentation of her live show. Her performances combine dancing, sharp lyrics and vocal parts, and her live profile includes appearances at major Swiss festivals such as Zürich Openair Festival, Gurten Festival and Lethargy Festival, as well as Swiss national television and national radio.

Recognition

At M4Music in Zurich, she receives awards for Best Electronic and Demo of the Year from a field of nearly 800 entries. Her work stands out in the Swiss music scene through its DIY approach and distinctive stage presentation.

Writing and influences

Her songs draw on games, anime, cartoons and books, and she builds abstract characters and stories rather than writing purely autobiographical material. This gives her recordings an otherworldly quality.

Release plans

She is working on a debut album titled Glitch Trigger, accompanied by a concept art booklet and centred on characters she invents.
