Jessie Grace

Jessie Grace is a singer-songwriter from South Bucks, just west of London. She begins with classical piano and later teaches herself guitar, after which she starts writing songs. She has also been involved in several band projects and then focuses on a solo career.

Music and influences

Her musical influences include Radiohead, The Raconteurs, Nirvana, Björk and PJ Harvey. Those influences feed into her debut album Asleep On The Good Foot, which is produced by Dave Draper. The record includes the track “Beautiful” as its opening song, and “L.O.V. E.” is also singled out in coverage of the album.

Reception and radio play

Tracks from Asleep On The Good Foot receive airplay on several BBC Introducing programmes, including shows for Three Counties, BBC Oxford and BBC Berks. “Beautiful” also airs nationally on Tom Robinson’s BBC6 Introducing programme.
