Jenna Witts

Jenna Witts is a North Devon singer-songwriter who also plays keyboards and acoustic guitar. Her songs are melodic and draw on themes of the sea, love and life. She has a stage presence shaped by humour and a west-country accent, and performs with a voice described as mature, along with a mix of sass, attitude and elegance.

Recording and touring

Witts has extensive recording and touring experience. She completes five nationwide tours with Steve Knightley of Show of Hands and performs with the group at a sold-out concert at the Royal Albert Hall. She also tours with Mercury Prize nominee Seth Lakeman and supports Fisherman’s Friends from Port Isaac.

Collaborations

She performs alongside a range of artists including Elkie Brooks, Hazel O’Connor, Newton Faulkner, The Noisettes and Nerina Pallot.

Albums

Her first album, Barefoot and Eager, receives national airplay and a number of accolades, and is named one of the Financial Times’ top 10 world albums of 2007. Her second album, Brother, also gains critical acclaim and airplay on BBC Radio 2.
