Jelusick
Jelusick is a Croatian hard rock and progressive metal group from Zagreb, active since 2023. The band centres on Dino Jelusić, who performs lead vocals, acoustic guitars and keyboards, with Ivan Keller on guitars, Luke Broderick on bass and Mario Lepoglavec on drums.
Background
The project follows a two-year legal dispute with Dino Jelusić’s former label, after which he begins recording new material for the band. Jelusick releases its debut album, Follow The Blind Man, through Escape Music Ltd. The group’s second album, Apoliticial Ecstasy, is also announced for release.
Dino Jelusić
Dino Jelusić, also known as Dino Jelusick, is a singer, musician and songwriter born in 1992. He wins the first Junior Eurovision Song Contest in 2003. He founds and serves as principal songwriter and lead singer of the progressive rock band Animal Drive, which forms in 2012 and signs to Frontiers Records in 2017.
He also works with a range of other acts and projects. Since 2016 he is a touring member of Trans-Siberian Orchestra. He releases an album with Dirty Shirley alongside guitarist George Lynch, appears as a featured vocalist on two songs from Magnus Karlsson’s Free Fall album, joins Gotus in 2020 with former Krokus members and Mandy Mayer, and later becomes a backing vocalist for Whitesnake. In 2022, he performs all vocals on Michael Romeo’s solo album War of the Worlds, Pt. 2 and also joins The Dead Daisies tour in place of Glenn Hughes.
