Jeffrey Martin is an American singer-songwriter from Oregon. He releases acoustic, folk-based songs and is associated with slow, stripped-back songwriting.

Career

His first album, Gold in the Water, is released in 2009. The record brings him key live opportunities and leads to him being heard by promoters. He then tours widely across the United States.

Performances and collaborations

Martin shares stages with Sean Hayes, Martyn Joseph, Jeffrey Foucault, David Wilcox, Tracy Grammer and other artists. He also appears at festivals alongside Joe Pug, Gregory Alan Isakov and Anais Mitchell. He performs at the Mountain Stage New Song Contest at Lincoln Center in New York City.

In 2011, he receives an honourable mention from American Songwriter magazine.
