JD Twitch

JD Twitch is a UK DJ and producer, also known as Kelvin Bridge and Mount Florida. He is one half of Optimo, the DJ partnership behind Optimo (espacio), the club night that runs at the Sub Club in Glasgow on Sunday nights and Monday mornings.

Career

Before Optimo (espacio), JD Twitch is the resident DJ at Pure in Edinburgh, a club started with his former partner Brainstorm. He develops edits and reworks for use largely in his own DJ sets, and he is known for using Ableton Live alongside two turntables and a mixer to extend that setup.

Remixes and releases

He remixes artists including Liquid Liquid, Franz Ferdinand and Sons & Daughters. With JG Wilkes, he releases the mix albums How to Kill the DJ Part 2 and Psyche Out, both from around 2005.

Context
