Jaymo and Andy George

Jaymo and Andy George are a DJ and production duo associated with the Moda club night, radio broadcasting and record label activity. They perform mash-up sets that bring together electro, disco, house, techno and indie, and they build their reputation through club nights, radio work and remixes.

Club nights and events

Their Moda parties develop from small beginnings in a dimly lit bar to large warehouse events. The night earns recognition from Mixmag, which names it fourth-best UK club night of 2008. They also report from major BBC events including One Big Weekend and Creamfields.

Radio work

In April 2008, they record a live Essential Mix for BBC Radio 1, becoming two of the youngest people to do so. By October 2008, they present their own Radio 1 show, and they also cover and co-host programmes with Annie Mac, Kissy Sell Out, Vernon Kay and Zane Lowe.

Production and remixes

As producers, they release a string of club tracks and create remixes for Miike Snow, Kidda and Ash. Their remixes receive support from Fake Blood, Annie Mac, Crookers, Kissy Sell Out, Jack Beats and Armand Van Helden.

Moda Music

They found Moda Music, a record label intended to issue their debut EP and to release work by new producers and bands. The label sits alongside their club and radio activities as part of the Moda project.
