Jayce Lewis

Jayce Lewis is a musician from Bridgend, United Kingdom, born in 1984. He is known for self-taught, multi-instrument work and for writing and performing much of the material on his debut album himself, including the lyrics and most of the synthesiser parts.

Music and recording

Lewis’s music is described as combining high-energy rock with dance electronica and tribal drumming. His debut album draws on experiences from his own life and covers several subjects in its lyrics. He works with synthesiser production as well as rock instrumentation, and his recorded output is closely associated with his individual approach to composition and performance.

Live work and collaboration

For live performances, Lewis forms a session band from a group of friends and teaches them the material for the stage production. In January 2010, he works with producer Warren Blackmore on synthesiser production and the pair remixes the single “Icon”.
