jaundis-i is an orchestra from Roma, Italy, active from 1952 to the present and associated with classical music. The group’s membership includes Felix Ayo, Massimo Paris, Federico Agostini, Pietro Bosna, Claudio Buccarella, Pina Carmirelli, Walter Gallozzi, Roberto Michelucci, Vito Paternoster, Pasquale Pellegrino, Silvio Di Rocco, Franco Tamponi, Gastone Tassinari, Enzo Altobelli, Antonio Anselmi, Arnaldo Apostoli, Maria Teresa Garatti and Francesco Strano.

The name also appears in connection with an earlier Trinidad, West Indies band project that played a rock and reggae crossover style. In that account, guitarist and vocalist Robert Beadon later moves to the UK and takes the name with him, while the rest of the group considers the name unlucky after the original project does not last because of limited money and time.
