Jasper Fforde is a British novelist from London, born in 1961. He is mainly associated with alternate history, metafiction, mystery and science fantasy.

Writing

Fforde’s first novel, The Eyre Affair, appears in 2001. He is best known for the Thursday Next series, and he also writes the loosely connected Nursery Crime books.

He also begins two independent series, The Last Dragonslayer and Shades of Grey.
