Jason Byrne

Jason Byrne is a comedian from Dublin, Ireland, born in 1972. He is a regular at the Kilkenny Cat Laughs comedy festival and appears as part of the “Just a Minute” team.

Festival work and recognition

Byrne makes multiple appearances at the Edinburgh Festival, including a tenth appearance in August 2006. He is a finalist in So You Think You’re Funny in 1996. He is nominated for the Perrier Best Newcomer Award in 1998, and he is nominated again for the Perrier Award in 2001 for his show Jason Byrne. He wins the Forth One Fringe Award in 2004 at the Edinburgh Festival.
