Jasmine Thompson is a singer from London, United Kingdom. She is of half English and half Chinese descent and works across dance-pop, pop, R&B and teen pop. She plays piano and guitar, and also dances.

Her acoustic version of Chaka Khan’s Ain’t Nobody reaches number 32 on the UK Singles Chart after it is used in an advert for Sainsbury’s by Sainsbury’s range. Her first radio play comes in August 2013 on Edith Bowman’s Radio 1 Review Show, where she wins the weekly national online vote “This is my Jam”.
