Jasmine Rogers is a US country and pop singer, songwriter, actor, record producer and entrepreneur from Houston, United States. Born in 1938 and dying in 2020, she appears as a performer with several early group associations, including Kenny Rogers & The First Edition, The New Christy Minstrels, The Bobby Doyle Three and The Scholars.

Work and collaborations

Rogers is described as a vocalist and co-songwriter with the UK band BOA. The group’s music combines rock, world, blues and country, and their track “Duvet” is used as the title song for the anime Serial Experiments Lain. BOA later records the albums Twilight and Get There, and also issues an EP through Belgian distributor Dybex.

Other music

Her own writing includes “Armitage-Near Me” and “Baby Yoko”, both made for the soundtrack of the Japan and US collaboration anime Armitage III. She also works with different producers on acoustic material of her own, and experiments with her sound and lyrics.
