Jane McDonald is an English singer and television presenter from Wakefield, United Kingdom. Raised on the Peacock Estate in Wakefield, West Yorkshire, she first becomes widely known after appearing in the television series The Cruise.

Music

She releases four albums: Jane McDonald, Inspiration, Love at the Movies and You Belong to Me. Her self-titled album reaches number one in the UK albums chart and remains there for three weeks. Her label is Jane McDonald Ltd.

Television and other appearances

McDonald presents the television programme Star For A Night, which helps launch Joss Stone. She also appears regularly as a panellist on Loose Women and The Wright Stuff. Her other television appearances include Have I Been Here Before and Drop the Celebrity.

Stage performance

She appears in the Wicked Women concert and performs “This Is The Moment” from the Broadway musical Jekyll and Hyde.
