Jakarta Club
Jakarta Club are an indie four-piece from Cumbria in the north of England. The group plays indie pop, indie rock and experimental music, with bright melodies, driving rhythms and prominent bass lines shaping its sound. The band has been working together on and off for four years under the name Jakarta Club and in other forms before settling into this line-up.

Chris Redgate sings and plays ukulele, Edward Campbell plays guitar, Joe Ashmore plays bass guitar, and Josh Thomas plays drums.
Activity and releases
The band finds its musical footing in 2012, when it plays festival dates in the UK and Europe and supports acts including Dub Pistols, Birds vs Planes and Kenworthy across the north of England and the Midlands. After that run of live shows, Jakarta Club records a self-titled debut EP in the studio.
