Jack Whitehall is a British comedian and television presenter from Westminster, England. Born in 1988, he works with Chambers Management Ltd.

Television work

Whitehall is best known for presenting Big Brother's Big Mouth on E4 and for fronting Celebrity Big Brother on Channel 4. He presents the show for two weeks in 2008 before returning as the full-time presenter for the 2009 series of Celebrity Big Brother. He also appears on other Channel 4 programmes including 8 Out of 10 Cats, Tonightly, The Sunday Night Project and Big Brothers Big Quiz.

He also presents The TNT Show with Holly Walsh on Channel 4.

Stand-up and live work

Whitehall performs stand-up comedy and presents his first solo show, Nearly Rebellious, at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. He says that Bill Hicks, Stewart Lee and John Gordillo are among the comedians who influence him.

Awards and recognition

He wins the Amused Moose Laugh Off in 2007. He is runner-up in the Laughing Horse New Act of the Year competition, a finalist in So You Think You're Funny?, winner of the Charlie Harthill Special Reserve, and a finalist in the Hackney Empire New Act of the Year competition. He is also nominated for Best Newcomer at the 2008 Chortle Awards.
