Jack Watts is a singer-songwriter from Brighton who works in soul-influenced acoustic and jazz-leaning pop. His music is shaped by the influence of Jeff Buckley and Radiohead, while also drawing on the acoustic and jazzy side of Ben Howard, Nina Simone, Justin Nozuka and Damien Rice.

His debut EP, Red Shortbread, is a five-track release that includes one cover version and four original songs. The original material is described as carefully written and performed, with a hushed vocal style and emotionally intense lyrics. A later EP, How It Is, follows in 2016.
