Jack Morgan

Jack Morgan is a singer-songwriter based in south-west London. He self-releases music and works in folk and soft rock styles. The name is also associated with a BBC spoof comedy television character, played by Robert Popper, who appears as one of the presenters of Look Around You.

Early release

In 2010, Morgan self-releases the six-track EP Sleep in Heavenly Peace. The record consists of demos recorded in his student flat in Leamington Spa.

Recording plans and related credit

A follow-up studio EP is planned for mixing and mastering by Kramer. Separately, the BBC comedy character Jack Morgan uses a Harrington 1200 song-writing computer in the Look Around You episode “Music” to create a track called “Little Mouse”, described as being in the key of S and set to a tempo of “quite fast”.
