Jack Day

Jack Day is a singer-songwriter from the United States who works in folk, americana and rock and roll. He builds a following through live performance and songwriting, and is associated with the London Americana and singer-songwriter scene.

Recording and releases

In 2011, Day records with Brian O'Shaughnessy at Bark Studios. The session produces a six-song demo that presents his live style and songwriting on record.

Live activity and appearances

His live work includes shows across the UK as well as performances in Berlin, Milan and Bologna. He also appears on the artists selection committee and curates a sold-out venue at the Gaymers Camden Crawl 2011. In the same period, he supports Trevor Moss & Hannah Lou on their On Big Water tour.

Lantern Society

Day co-hosts the Lantern Society, a regular event held on the first and third Thursday of each month at the Betsey Trotwood in Clerkenwell. Performers there include The Magic Numbers, Danny George Wilson of Danny & the Champions of the World, a.h.a.b and The Hank Dogs.
