Isolde

Isolde is an electronic duo made up of Andrew Chalk and Robin Barnes. The project works in drone, ambient, pop, experimental and field recording-oriented areas.

Releases

As a collaboration, Isolde releases a mini CD titled You’re Alone in Red Riding Picture in 2005. It also issues an untitled cassette in 2008, later re-released on mini CD as All Things to Fall Like Marching Men. The duo’s album On Waving and Drowning follows in 2006.

All of these releases appear on Robin Barnes’ label, Penny Poppet.

Other artist with the same name

The name Isolde is also used by Belgian drummer Isolde Lasoen for her solo project, and by a stoner rock band from the Netherlands formed in April 2006.
