Isaac Waddington is an English singer and pianist from the United Kingdom. He first comes to national attention in 2015 as a contestant on Britain's Got Talent, where he reaches the live finals and finishes fifth overall.

Early life and training

Waddington begins his singing career as a chorister at Chichester Cathedral. During this period, he also attends The Prebendal School and later becomes Head Chorister of the cathedral choir. In 2012, he wins the BBC Radio 2 Chorister of the Year competition, which leads to an appearance on Songs of Praise.

Britain's Got Talent

Waddington's audition for the ninth series of Britain's Got Talent is broadcast in 2015. He performs Billy Joel's "She's Always a Woman" and receives four yeses from the judges. He is chosen for the live semi-finals, where he sings Bonnie Raitt's "I Can't Make You Love Me" and receives a standing ovation. He wins the semi-final and goes through to the final, where he performs "She's Always a Woman" again. He finishes fifth in the public vote with 9.7%.

Recording career

After his Britain's Got Talent appearance, Waddington is signed by Syco, the label run by Simon Cowell.
