Invisible Circus

Invisible Circus is a funk, jazz and world-influenced band. It forms around Bob on saxophone, Cole on bass and Jake on drums.

The group begins after Bob and Cole meet at The Echo Project. Their first meeting is followed by a year of recurring encounters, and then Bob brings his saxophone to Cole’s house, where the band’s sound starts to take shape. Jake joins shortly before the first performance after the original drummer is unavailable, and he fills in on drums.

The band develops a style built on funk, jazz and world music elements, with its performances described as entering trance-like passages that lead to dancing.
