Into The Fire

Into The Fire is a hard rock group from the United States. It forms in 2013 around vocalist Bryan Scott, bassist Tim King and guitarist Adam Zadel. Scott is also known for work with The Union Underground and Cult To Follow, while King and Zadel are associated with SOiL.

Formation and early activity

The group begins after King and Zadel talk about putting together a project with Scott. King contacts Scott by text, and the collaboration quickly develops into Into The Fire. Scott says that when he receives the material, he immediately starts shaping vocal ideas and recording vocals over it.

Recording and sound

The first two released tracks are “Spit You Out” and “From The Medicine”. Bryan W. Scott engineers, produces and mixes both tracks, and James Murphy masters them. The music is described as a raw, stripped-down rock sound with modern elements.

Line-up and musicians

Drums on the early tracks are performed by Craig Nunenmacher, formerly of Black Label Society. He does not continue with the project because of family obligations. Will Hunt, who has played with Evanescence and Black Label Society, then joins on drums as a long-time friend brought in to replace him.
