Intervention

Intervention is an emo group from Jacksonville, Florida. The name is also used by a separate metal band from Rovaniemi, Finland, which forms in 2007, begins as a Megadeth cover act called Sweating Mullets, and then starts writing original material. That Finnish group later changes name to Intervention after separating as its own band and, after several line-up changes, releases a first demo in 2009.

The Finnish Intervention works with thrash metal influences. Its early releases include Promo '09, recorded in the band’s rehearsal facility, followed by Words of Violence - Promo 01/2010 and Growing Line Of Caskets, which appears in 2011. The listed line-up is Tuomo Marttinen on vocals, Johannes Leipälä on guitars and backing vocals, Joni Lehto on bass and backing vocals, and Ville Alakörkkö on drums.
