Internal Conflict is a metal band from Leicester, active from 2004 to the present. The group forms around a death metal core with metalcore and thrash metal influences, and it is described as drawing on North American and Scandinavian metal.

Formation and line-up

The band begins in late October 2004. Its line-up includes Harley Anderson on vocals, Matt Hall and Sean Rice on guitars, Tom Ingram on bass and Dan Robbins on drums. Sean Rice is also associated with Dagonoth.

Style and lyrics

Internal Conflict builds its sound from the interplay between the rhythm section and the twin guitars, combining aggression with harmony, melody and speed. The lyrics focus on psychology, a decaying society, prophecy and predatory action.

Live performance

The band is known for uncompromising live performances, presented with a ferocious delivery.
