Intergalactic Lovers are a Belgian indie rock band from Aalst, active since 2008. The group is made up of Lara Chedraoui, Brendan Corbey, Maarten Huygens and Raf De Mey, and releases material on Unday Records.

Line-up and origin

The four members meet in the suburbs and know each other through the same scouts. They begin playing music together after spending time “hoarsing and fooling around” in that setting. Chedraoui handles vocals and guitar, Corbey plays drums, Huygens plays guitar and bass, and De Mey plays guitar and bass.

Style

The band works in an indie rock and alternative style, with female vocals at the centre of the group’s sound. Their stated aim is to lift the monotony of ordinary life through music.
