Intergalactic Gary

Intergalactic Gary is a DJ and record producer from Den Haag. He starts mixing around 1980, influenced by the Italo disco scene in The Hague, and begins his professional DJ career in 1990, playing squat and club parties in the city.

DJ work and radio

From 1992 to 1996, he holds a weekly Sunday-night residency at LA D.S. club in The Hague, where he plays house, garage and disco. He also appears at local parties and clubs in the region. From 1994, he works as a weekly guest DJ for regional pirate radio stations including Trend FM and Radical Radio. Since 1999, he remains active on the European club circuit, with appearances in cities including Berlin, Barcelona, Amsterdam, Helsinki, Moscow, Dublin, Glasgow, London, Madrid, Geneva and Munich.

Production and collaborations

His first record is produced in 1994 under the name Silverstream for Top Secret Records. In 1998, he and I-F form The Parallax Corporation, which is listed as a duo. Together they produce the club track Lift Off on Viewlexx, followed by the Cocadisco series on the same label. The Cocadisco album later appears on Disko B.

The Parallax Corporation also remixes tracks for Jolly Music, Adult., Ganymed and Japanese Telecom, with releases on labels including Sony, Clone, Sabotage and Detroit’s Intuit Solar Records. His last vinyl production under the name The Conservatives appears in 2003 with I-F.

Radio, mix CDs and labels

He is a regular mixer on CBS and Intergalactic FM from the start of those stations. He also releases four mix CDs on Panama Racing between 2006 and 2009.
