Inner Terestrials

Inner Terestrials are a London punk and dub band formed in 1996 by J on vocals and guitars, Fran on bass and vocals, and Paco on drums. Paco has also played with Conflict. The group develops a style that combines dub, punk, ska, folk and anarchic dance music, and is associated with the UK dub-punk sound.

Activity and performances

The band tours widely across Europe and has played in 20 countries, alongside numerous festivals. It has performed in cities including Bristol, Berlin, Paris and Warsaw, and is described as a long-running live act linked with squats, barns, fields and other underground venues.

Releases

Their debut album, IT!, is self-released in 1996 and remains in demand with underground distributors across Europe. A live album, Escape From New Cross, follows in 1997 as a vinyl-only release. The band then issues the Enter The Dragon EP in 1999 and the single Barry Horne in 2002. After a Clash cover single, Guns Of Brixton, it releases the studio album X on MASS PROD/MALOKA.

Studio work and later material

The group also records material for an album titled Tales of Terror, with Paco involved in the studio sessions. It is described as continuing to work on new material alongside festival and tour activity in Britain and Europe.
