In Flight Program

In Flight Program are a rock band from Derby, United Kingdom. They form in February 2003 after the split of Rusk and are active from 2003 onwards. The original line-up includes Jamie Thrasivoulou on vocals, Rob Poulter on drums, James Fisher on bass and Andy Clarke on guitar.

Early releases and compilation appearances

In the first three years after forming, the band releases a six-track mini-album, Reference Points Of No Return, on Signature Tune in 2006. During the same period they also appear on several compilation releases, including a tribute to Derby band Cable and all three Stressed volumes.

Line-up changes and later recording

In October 2006, Greg Rawson joins on drums, which allows Rob Poulter to move to guitar. This gives the band the line-up they want from the start as a five-piece. They then release a split 7-inch single with Days Ago on Signature Tune in 2007. Over 2007, they focus on writing material for a full-length album.

Album work and personnel changes

The band enters the studio in March 2008, but the recording process becomes drawn out by false starts, changes of direction, financial problems and personal difficulties. Later in 2008, founding guitarist Andy Clarke leaves the band. Darren Burns, a long-time friend of the group, helps on live guitar at some shows while recording continues.
