In Colour

In Colour is a London-based project associated with UK producer and former SikTh guitarist Dan Weller, and it includes ex-Tesseract vocalist Dan Tompkins, Ciaran Cahill on synths, Pete Skipper on bass and Darren Baxter on drums. Weller and Cahill begin writing together in 2007, and the group develops a sound that draws on rock roots as well as 1980s and 1990s pop music, combining that with electronic elements, strong hooks and atmospheric vocals.

The project first appears with material including the track “Listen For The Rain” and “All that I’ve been waiting for”. It records initial demos at Karma Sound in Thailand and then works toward studio recordings for release. The band also frames itself as a five-piece line-up, with Tompkins joining after the core musicians have already established a tight unit.

Another act called In Colour is credited as a German eurodance project produced by Taylor, featuring Trevor David and releasing the single “I Wanna Give It To You”.

Dan Weller also has production credits with Enter Shikari, Young Guns and Kids in Glass Houses.
