Impaled Existence

Impaled Existence is a progressive death metal group from North Wales, formed in 2004. The band develops a style described as combining brutality, odd-time grooves and melody, and it cites influences from a range of metal acts including Whitechapel, After the Burial, Veil of Maya and In Flames.

Releases and live activity

In 2011, Impaled Existence releases the EP These Lifeless Plains. It appears worldwide through digital download outlets including iTunes and Amazon MP3, with physical copies also available through the band’s web store. The release features artwork by Darkgrove Media.

The band also builds a live reputation through competition wins and touring. It wins Metal 2 The Masses in 2011, which leads to a slot on the New Blood Stage at Bloodstock Festival. In 2012 it wins King Of The Stage, earning a place on the Pepsi Max stage at Download Festival. That same year it undertakes its first UK tour, billed as the DestrUKtion Tour 2012.

Impaled Existence plays with a wide range of metal acts, including Exodus, Evile, Decapitated, Kataklysm, Man Must Die, Marionette, Swallow the Sun, Ted Maul, Suicide Silence, Born of Osiris, Ingested and Annotations of an Autopsy.
