Imogen Clark

Imogen Clark is a singer-songwriter from Sydney whose music sits in the folk, pop and country sphere. She takes part in the Telstra Road to Discovery, where she reaches the grand final, and she completes training through both the Australian Academy of Country Music and the NSW Talent Development Project.

She releases a series of original EPs: Sky Stands Still in 2010, Under the Fairy Lights in 2011, and Stories From A Porcelain City as her third EP. The last of these is her first professionally recorded studio release and sees her work with Sydney producer Murray Sheridan and a group of session musicians.

Clark appears on radio and live interview programmes including Felicity Urquhart’s ABC Saturday Night Country, Tamworth’s 2TM and Katoomba’s 89.1 BLU FM. Through the Talent Development Project, she wins the Jands Singer/Songwriter Award and records original music at Sony Studios.

Her live work includes support slots for Matt Corby, Jack Carty and The McClymonts, as well as pre-show performances for Mumford & Sons, Paul Simon, Simple Minds and Carole King at Sydney Entertainment Centre. In November 2012, she performs on the main stage of the Entertainment Centre as a featured solo artist in the NSW Schools Spectacular, which is broadcast nationally on ABC TV. She also plays the Blue Mountains Folk Festival at Katoomba’s Clarendon Guesthouse in March 2013.
