I-Fire

I-Fire

I-Fire is a reggae group from Hamburg, Germany. The band combines Jamaican roots with German-language lyrics and hip hop elements, and works with a melodic reggae and dancehall sound. It is a 10-member act.

Line-up

The group includes Fri Free and RawBird. The full line-up given is Robert “Raw” Schlepper on vocals, Fritz “Free” Kschowak on vocals, Nils “Dub-Ill-You” Wieczorek on vocals, Marcus Arnold on guitar, Valentin Heinrich on keys, Anton Soetrisno on bass, Andreas Feldmann on drums, Nils Nöhden on trombone, Niklas Ulrich on trumpet, and Julian Bohn on mixing desk and samples.

Releases

I-Fire releases its first longplayer in 2007, titled Vom Schatten ins Licht. The title is translated as “From shadow to light”. The group also releases the single Ferien zu Haus in 2008, a title that translates as “Holidays at home”.
