I Build Collapsible Mountains is the solo project of Scottish musician Luke G Joyce. He is formerly the front man of the post-rock band The Gothenburg Address, and this project moves towards a more subdued singer-songwriter style.

Style and performance

On record, the music includes extra instrumentation and production detail, while the live setting is presented more simply as one person with a guitar. The songs are described as melancholic and poetic, and the project is rooted in Luke’s return to his singer-songwriter origins.

Live work and activity

Luke has performed across the UK and Europe and has also appeared on live in-studio sessions and radio airplay. The project signs to Burning Building Recordings in Seattle and is set to release an EP, alongside UK and US mini-tours.
