I Blame Coco

I Blame Coco is an English pop group from the United Kingdom, fronted by Coco Sumner, who performs vocals. The act is also stylised as I Blåme Coco. It works with a backing band that includes Jonny Mott on keyboards, Alexis Nunez on drums, Jonas Jalhay on guitar and Rory Andrew on bass.

Career

The project forms around Coco Sumner, who is the child of The Police frontman Sting and actress Trudie Styler. In 2008, the group signs to Island Records. After a period of writing and recording in Sweden, it releases the debut single "Caesar" in 2010. The single features Swedish singer Robyn. The debut album, The Constant, follows later that year.

In 2014, Eliot Sumner announces that they will release new music under their own name.
