HYPNOCOUSTICS

Hypnocoustics is a London-based psytrance project made up of Joe Studt and Benjamin Wood. The pair work in electronic and psytrance, and their sound is described through driving rhythms, heavy grooves, strong drum programming and layered, immersive arrangements.

Background

Joe Studt and Benjamin Wood develop the project together from London. Their production approach combines their shared experience into a style built around rhythm, movement and dense sound design. The act presents itself as a UK psytrance group with a focus on full-on energy.

Releases and performances

The project’s first release is Buddha Nature EP on BMSS Records. Hypnocoustics also appear on line-ups and stages with Mr Peculiar, Andromeda, Vibrasphere, Silicon Sound, Tron and Flooting Grooves. The act plays in the UK, Germany, Switzerland and France.
