Hunter

Hunter is a Polish heavy metal band formed in Szczytno in 1985 and active since then. The group is also described by the musicians as playing soul metal. Its line-up includes Marcin Grzegorczyk, Konrad, Piotr, Jelonek, Daray, Jason Letkiewicz, Konrad Karchut and Piotr Kędzierzawski.

Style and development

The band starts out with a thrash metal sound influenced by Metallica, which leads to it being nicknamed “the Polish Metallica” locally. Over time, its music develops into a heavier and more powerful style, heard on albums such as Medeis and T.E.L.I., both of which appear in Polish and English versions.
