Hugo is the name used by several artists, including an Italian tech-house and minimal techno producer from Turin. He is classically trained as a jazz musician and develops electronic music with a “less is more” approach, while keeping a funky, rough and club-oriented sound.

Career

He grows up in Turin and becomes interested in music at a young age, later taking up electronic music in the 1990s. His work as a manager sits alongside his production activity. He also founds his own electro-focused label, General Elektrik.
