Huerta

Huerta is the alias of Steve Huerta, a house DJ and producer based in Berlin, with origins in Los Angeles and Berlin. He works across deep house, house, ambient house, ambient and tech house.

He releases on R&R and Voyage. His debut album for Voyage is built as a California-themed journey, combining melodic rhythm, natural sounds and ambient textures. Recorded throughout 2019, it brings together west coast-inspired ambient material and the more rhythmic house tracks he is known for.

His music draws on the landscapes associated with his upbringing, and his ode to the juniper tree is presented as an immersive and introspective long-player.
