horsebath

horsebath are a Canadian Americana group from Halifax, Nova Scotia. The band consists of four multi-instrumentalists, with three members sharing lead vocal duties. Keast Mutter, Daniel Connolly and Dagen Mutter sing and play guitar for most of the arrangements, while Etienne Beausoleil plays bass.

The group releases its debut single, They Don't Know, in 2023 and follows it with its first full-length album, Another Farewell, in 2025. Their sound draws on a wide range of country and Americana influences, including the Tex-Mex rhythm styles associated with the Sir Douglas Quintet, the country-folk eccentricity of Lee Hazlewood, the cosmic country of Gram Parsons, the reflective writing of Leonard Cohen and the narrative approach of The Band.
