Hope Remains Lost

Hope Remains Lost is a post-hardcore band from Bristol, formed in 2004. The group’s line-up includes Damien Chaney on bass guitar, Adam Thorne on drums, Mitchell Powell on lead guitar and Scott Ward on vocals. After a short hiatus in 2008, the band adds James Pope on rhythm guitar.

The band’s sound is described through its use of heavy riffs, strong drumming, complex bass lines and emotionally driven vocals, with a harder live dynamic after the addition of a second guitarist. The group remains active in live performance and is associated with Bristol’s local music scene.
