Honor

Honor is a Polish band from Gliwice, active since 1989. It is associated with RAC and heavy metal, and is also described as a Polish RAC/heavy metal group. The band’s line-up includes Olaf Jasiński and Mariusz Szczerski.

Its music develops from hard rock into heavy metal, and its lyrics move from a nationalist focus towards pagan themes. The group is linked to the broader Polish rock and metal underground, including pagan metal and Rock Against Communism.

Lead singer Szczery dies in a car accident. Guitarist Olaf later plays in the black metal band Warhead, and Olaf Jasiński also has a band called October 15.
