Honeyluv

Honeyluv is a DJ and producer from Cleveland, Ohio, whose background includes basketball and service in the U.S. Navy. She first appears as a DJ playing hip hop and R&B on Dash Radio as a guest on Corey Calliet’s Issa Lifestyle show, and at urban parties in Los Angeles, before moving into dance music, which she describes as her first love.

DJ career

Honeyluv builds her reputation in house and wider dance music after beginning to DJ in the city associated with a strong house music tradition. She plays at clubs, hotels and private events across the United States, and also performs online for festivals and events including Desert Hearts and House Nation Music.

Radio and style

She hosts her own radio show, House of Honey, which is powered by ill Donuts Radio. The show is intended to spotlight underground dance music culture and the roots of house music. Her sets focus on groove and on music that encourages movement across genres rather than staying within one style.
