Hippo Campus is an indie-pop band that was forged in the fires of a creative arts high school in downtown St. Paul, MN in early 2013. The group is composed of: Stitches (guitar), Beans (drums), Espo (bass), and The Turntan (guitar/vocals). Hippo Campus released their first recording, The Bashful Creatures EP, on bandcamp on November 14th, 2014. A few months later they signed to Grand Jury Music.
They are currently on their first tour with The Mowgli's.
