Hilight Tribe is a French electronic and trance group associated with natural trance, tribal, psytrance and goa. The group links modern club culture with ethnic sounds and builds its music around live performance.

Line-up and performance style

The act is made up of Laurent Didier, Mathias Duroy, Sébastien Garcia, Ludovic Pélissier, Richard Perès and Grégory Ruzé. Its live setup centres on a group of musicians working with a sound engineer at the mixing desk. Their performances combine instruments such as didgeridoo, djembe, guitar, congas, drum kit and bass, all locked to a steady drum kick.
