Henry Saiz

Henry Saiz is a producer and DJ from Madrid, Spain, who works in electronic music and live performance. He is active under the project Henry Saiz & Band, and his work is associated with labels including Natura Sonoris and Logicalnoise Records.

Background and early development

He plays several instruments from an early age and begins his musical activity in bands that perform tributes to a range of styles, including black metal and pop. He shows an early interest in synthesizers, and in 1999 electronic music becomes his main focus, leading him to dedicate himself full time to production.

While studying sound engineering, he connects with Logicalnoise Records, where he finds a label approach that matches his own emphasis on quality and flexibility. He later works with several artists and bands linked to the avant-garde.

Work and style

Saiz combines electronic music with work in advertising and documentary projects, alongside live performance. His productions and DJ sets are described through their eclecticism and intensity, with an open approach to new styles and a strong interest in artistic experimentation.

Releases and collaborations

Before the release of his first solo vinyl, Global Underground asks him to remix the German producer Phonique for an upcoming vinyl release. His first vinyl, Mamut EP, is released on Logicalnoise Records and presents his approach as hypnotic, powerful dancefloor-focused electronic music.
