Hellfish is Julian Cobb, an electronic music producer and hardcore DJ from Essex in the United Kingdom. He works in deathchant hardcore and gabber, and his music is also described as drawing on industrial hardcore and breakcore.

Career

Hellfish begins releasing music on labels including Moving Shadow, Dance Bass and his own Bogwoppa Records. He also has a period in happy hardcore before moving into the style that later defines his work. In 1996, he launches Deathchant Records and becomes known for a hardcore techno and hip-hop crossover approach.
